Nuctenea umbratica

This is a very long legged spider and is often found in houses, seemingly unmoving and often acts as if its dying. Its name 'umbratica' means lazy!

Nice pic - although this adult male should be outside which is actually where they live, having accidentally come indoors while out and about in search of a female. They're usually behind bark on trees etc with an orb web linked to a branch (hence flattened appearance). He probably actually is dying due to being dehydrated! :-D
